"The Quietest Sound" premieres in Europe

I've just been informed that "The Quietest sound" will screen in competition at the One Take Film Festival in Zagreb, Croatia, November 20-22. And yes, the One Take Film Festival is devoted exclusively to films shot in one take, so maybe there wasn't a lot of competition for this festival. But still, a festival is a festival. I hope to be in attendance, because when will I have another excuse to travel to Zagreb?

Hello James,

How are you?

Sorry to read that you couldn't attend the 2008 one take film festival in Zagreb, Croatia.

Found the website for the festival.

http://www.onetakefilmfestival.com/2008eng/index_flash.html

Saw the program. Looks like most of the entries were very short films and videos. One was only one minute. Except for a couple of films, all were 10 minutes or less. Your film was the second longest on the program after an 89 minute film from Turkey. The next longest after yours was 16 minutes.

Don't know who won the Grand-Prix. The last listing is for the 2006 winner. The website needs updating. Looks like the Jury consisted of a couple of locals and a Brasilian man.

Good luck with Partizan! I hope your cat is doing better.

P.S. Google Blogging is a real headache with the user/password. I had to create a new account because it rejected the old one.
